Quote & buy redesign
1st Central's mobile traffic was looking to surpass desktop in late 2016 and with mobile conversion lower than desktop the e-commerce team decided a redesign of the existing journey was required.
Adopting a mobile first approach I began the complete redesign of the quote and buy journey. Effectively combining user research and data insights I produced visuals and tested prototypes for each interaction on both mobile and desktop. Working collaboratively within a cross-functional team of developers, business analysts, project managers, testers and web analysts to successfully complete this project.
My responsibilities included:
- Conducting a competitive analysis and user research
- Designing the entire journey on both mobile and desktop
- Creating prototypes
- User testing
- Pitching the initial idea to senior stakeholders
- Assisted in creating the business requirements
- Troubleshooting and rewriting some of the CSS
- Liaising with the test team
This is the most ambitious project the 1st Central e-commerce has produced this year. Launch date is September 2017.
1st Drive app
1st Central wanted to unlock the value of our customers driving data. I was responsible for the branding and user testing of the 1st Drive app. The app delivered intelligent insights through an enriched driving experience.
Campaign pages
As the UX designer within a large marketing team I have key input for all usability and brand issues on our websites. Using the Kentico CMS platform I have designed several campaign pages for our digital marketing team which have increased conversion and helped improve sales.
